What "art" and the "artworld" looks like from the perspective of "artists" from Sydney's Inner West's "art scene".

  • To our talented friend Connie Anthes, thank you for the warm invitation to your open studio.  Most rewarding perhaps was the elegantly tenuous relationship stretched between the works, each the disparate exploration of a singular theme having to do with space and drawing in various mediums.  It was like experiencing a single reality while walking between different dimensions.  First there was the cardboard dimension, then the string dimension, the light dimension, even the painting dimension.  This photograph is an attempt to capture the artist lost in all the space she has manufactured.
